II (Leaving Hirzel Palace)" off the upcoming work by Yes It's Ananias, recorded by a state-of-art recording engineer William Gonzalez at NomasMellow Sound Studios in the mexican Desert of Guadalajara, Jalisco. It has arrived in Summer 2023 starring the heartwarming Parisian Ballerina and Actress Natasha Fisher. The third single was released in August 2023 just couple weeks before the new album "Yes It's Ananias IV: Turbulences After The Crash Landing Into The Fourth Dimension". Naming the minimalistic Solo Piano Track "Clever Mañana" had many different reasons. YIA Shared some of the secrets during International Press-Reviews and Interviews as this Track got listed in various Pianoplaylists on Spotify etc. Making him great coverage of several Blogs and E-Magazines from Sweden, Greece, UK, Germany, Italy and more. Fashion Magazines honuring his performance Art Look also after a night at mode suisse Fashion Show at Kunsthaus Zürich in Late-Summer 2024. The multi-inspired Artist has announced adding plans to record the fifth album in the very northern of Europe, at Lammaskallion Audio Studios, Finland in 2025.
The Touring-Musician, mostly inspired by the the 70's performance Art of minimalism to the maximum, currently rolling an extended Scandinavian, two Finnish, Swiss-National and Mexican Solo Piano Tour summing up an almost 50 Concerts-Run has had many highlights in 2024 so far. Being able to perform at the legendary Sala De Conciertos de Elisa Carillo Teatro in Texcoco, MX on a beautiful old Steinway & Sons Model-D Grand Piano and his International Jazzclub Debut Performance at Jazzatlan, Mexico City was a great success. A first live Album was recorded in the ancient and rich historical country of Mexico on a Steinway & Sons "D", releasing his first "Yes It's Ananias IV" LIVE Album later in 2024. In Summer 2024, YIA has travelled several places within his multinational Scandinavian Piano Tour to present his new Album. As an artist yet also working as a auto-booker himself he is never tired of exploring new possibilities to perform. It has happened aswell, that he'd appear on several occasions such as Art Performances, Art Exhibitions and Collaborative Works in Audio-Performance-Art pieces with many different Artists. Meanwhile he announced a Unique Musical Art-Performance named "Ceremonyia 8", an eight-days-a-week Solo Piano Performance Show during the #ArtBasel 2023 over at Basel Social Club. Covering several print-media in the german part of Switzerland with stories about the Steinway & Sons B211 Grand Piano Concerts in an old Mayonaise Factory and it's sensational and epheremal 14 seconds of reverb room-answer, emerging and developing Improvisation right on spot with several hundreds of different audiences everyday, live, and completely out of the comfort zone. The Zurich-based Pianofactory "Tastenwerk" collaborated with the artist and delivered a 70's "Ferrari" Model of the Steinway & Sons Series B211. It was the longest known Solo Piano Performance Series to date in his homecountry Switzerland in a row.
While other coorperate adventures have taken place, such as original music of Yes It's Ananias being selected in the very prominent "Post-Classical made in Switzerland" Playlist by SWISS Airline/Lufthansa, additionally with his Collabo Album "Fluxus Verve" on Hawaiian Airlines' "Ambient Playlist" in 2024 on all long-distance flight bord entertaining systems, aswell as the SBB CFF FFS "Trainstation Piano" Campaign where he appears in their Promo-Vid, Yes It's Ananias is constantly forming his Improvisations to clearer audiophile gemstones from each tour and Concert he ticked off his very piccadilly circus'ish travel and tourplans while promoting, booking, managing and pitching the brand new album himself simultaniously. His Compositions got aired on German "Radio EINS" as well as being used for documentaries in Canadian and Brazilian TV Shows.
After the Tour checklisting several countries and traveling 3 continents for his work/performing/filming/recording as a pianist, the album "IV" will highlight his power of crafting psychoautomatic poems in form of Solo Piano Improvisation within their very own sound, inspiration and detailmastery of recording the very specific expressionism-style of performing on the keys.
The first time, the behatted Pianist collaborated on a full length record was the heavy-ambient work, done and produced by An Moku. A Polish Sounddesigner and Gastronome based in Switzerland. "Fluxus Verve" was a big questionmark in the Drone Scene and asks the listener to breathe stronger and if protest is possible through quietness and fluidity of Solo Rhodes Improvisations coated and sparkling raw italian stringorchestrator Elka Rhapsody 690. The Collabo Album was performed several times around Switzerland making a quick sell out of their highly limited fuchsia/pink coloured Tape-Cassette. They perform their double trouble cinematic-piano-drone very selden. Yet it is a full energetic trip and seismographically entering bones and flesh. A big highlight was the invitation to Badenfahrt 2023. They are currently working on a follow-up album in 2025.
The vibrant new titles "Treizeta", "The Third Era" & "Vollenweider" off the freshly released 3rd Studio Album "Yes It's Ananias III: The Commencement of The Third Era" in 2022 have glimpsed couple of sparks of the upcoming new age and sound of YIA... Playing and booking himself over 40+ concerts on his current Euro-Swiss-Tour in support of his brand new Bandcamp "Neo-Classical / All Classical" - Charting Physical-Release (on Vinyl and DSP's only...).
In December 2021, Yes It's Ananias has released a surprise Solo Rhodes Single which is part of the third Saga. "Hot Snowflake Pt. I (Ice-O-Lation)" tells a story of an Utopia in our modern world. In early 2021, YIA teamed up with Philippe Schnyder, a promising Filmmaker, who decided to dedicate a full music-biopic amongst the YIAIII evolution. The Documentary Film will be shown at specific prestigeous places in Switzerland's cinematic areas such as Palass Cinema Zofingen or Neues Kino Freienstein in Winter 2022. Alongside this Doc-Film there has been a debut Digital Live Album released that carries the name "Yes It's Ananias III: The Evolution Of The Third Era (Official Motion Picture Steinway Session)", it's the Cinematic Steinway & Sons Grandpiano Session which has a pole position in it's film. YIAIII is full of audio, film and poetic material and puts a transgression into different schemes of the pianist's artistic mind. A new beginning for the psychoautomatic pianist who is just in his early thirties.
Although, the peculiar year of a post-millenium pandemic lead to a one-off performance in september 2020 when the 70's look inspired Swiss Pianist/Improvisationist went on stage for 6:29 min time. He conserved the moment and released his only digital output within 5 years since his well-approven second studio record "Yes It's Ananias II".
It's called "To Venus And Back" and was played on a Electric Piano in the oldest cinema in the country. Nicolas Streichenberg (His real Citizen Name) reveals the inside and puts it to the outer sphere. He toured heavely in the past couple years in search of finding his own signiture in the soundscape and playing by recording live-concerts on tour and release the limited Vinyl-Copies to the audience, re-listening to it and excerp the imprompti from all sections.
In 2018/2019/2021/2022 he was playing/visiting/touring in Southern Finland, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark, Mexico, Switzerland and Germany the most honest way: Solo Piano. While gathering an increasing fanbase around Switzerland's Connaisseur-Scene, he held up the first official PIANO DAY in Zurich. Swiss Radio/Television SRF Kultur portrayed him and his work during their Winter-Campaign #SRFZämeStah. A platform of selected Artists/Actors/Musicians in Switzerland. For the YIAIII-Album Campaign, swedish shoebrand "Everyday Hero" featured the pianist in their artist/music section "Listen Up" for a shoe release "The Zimmerman Snake III" Boot... A space for rocknroll spirits and fashionistas who are empowered by the musical taste of the shoedesigner. The filmwork for "Vollenweider" Single got premiered on their webpage of selective artists worldwide. It took only 6 days until one of most prestigeous Venues in Switzerland "Atlantis", who has been a base for the 60's/70's Rockscene in Basel and today's renowned Jazz/Contemporary Music Temple, was sold out. The re-invitation was abrupt and made him the first Solo Pianist to play the famous "'Tis" twice within half a year of pandemic time....
